Thanks for mentioning "Dance to the Music." It's a great song and has aged well - it's forty years old this year. I discuss "Dance to the Music" in my book about Sly Stone. I also mention another song on your playlist - "Little Latin Lupe Lu" by the Righteous Brothers. Did you know that Sly recorded a version of this song with Billy Preston in 1965?
