one hit wonders!

So, it was one hit wonders night at Rock Lobster! What kind of one hit wonders? From the 90's of course!

We brought back all those good and horrible songs (like Hanson, even though Marisa digs on those pre-teens...) that blasted through the radio waves. We laughed, we cried, we danced, we remembered-- and them some!

Hour One:
B-52's "Rock Lobster"
The Divinyls "I Touch Myself"
Sinead O'Connor "Nothing Compares 2 You"
Len "Steal My Sunshine"
Natalie Imbruglia "Torn"
Blur "Song 2"
Jamiraquai "Virtual Insanity"
Right Said Fred "I'm Too Sexy"
The Breeders "Cannonball"
Chumbawumba "Tubthumper"
Lou Bega "Mambo No. 5"

Hour Two:
B-52's "Rock Lobster"
Hanson "MmmBop"
Veruca Salt "Seether"
Sixpence None The Richer "Kiss Me"
The Proclaimers "I Would Walk (500 Miles)"
Paula Cole "Where Have All The Cowboys Gone?"
Jesus Jones "Right Here, Right Now"
Pearl Jam "Garden" (request from Ty-Rowan)
Faith No More "Epic"
Semisonic "Closing Time"
Harvey Dangerfield "Flagpole Sitta"
4-Non Blondes "What's Up?"
Snow "Informer"
House Of Pain "Jump Around"
Biz Markie "Just A Friend"

Mad props to our fearless leader DJ Dub Cowboy at his show at Humbrews on Friday night. Rock Lobster was there grooving to his tunes!

All of our love to Marisa right now.
We love you girl!

Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! We'll be back with an even more amazing theme next Friday night-- so STAY TUNED because something magnificent is coming up!

Love!
-Team Lobster

And it's Harvey Danger, not Harvey Dangerfield.

They only had that one hit, but they're a pretty solid band.
